The Artificial Intelligence Robotic Racing (AIRR) AI Robotic Racing Circuit is the premier, autonomous drone racing series created by The Drone Racing League (DRL). 

Lockheed Martin and DRL partnered to launch the 2019 AlphaPilot Innovation Challenge, an open competition to develop artificial intelligence (AI) for high-speed racing drones. The top AlphaPilot teams earned a coveted spot in DRL’s inaugural AIRR Circuit

AIRR AI Robotic Racing kicks off in 2019 and will feature four AI vs AI drone races during its first season. Fans will watch as autonomous drones race head-to-head through brightly colored, complex, three-dimensional aerial courses. Teams will race without any GPS, data relay or human intervention for a chance to win a $1 million cash prize. 

Here is your chance to witness the future as autonomous racing drones fly through obstacles without any human intervention. The first race is scheduled for Tuesday, October 8th in Orlando, Florida. The event is free and will be held at the Addition Financial Arena. Doors open at 2 pm ET for an exclusive networking opportunity featuring thought leaders and decision-makers in the engineering and AI space.
